I consider myself to be a lucky woman who has been blessed in many ways. Spring is here and that means for me some special birthdays are coming up. I have some close girlfriends who are having some big decade birthdays this year. I was rather touched by a compliment my six year old step-grandson gave me earlier this week. Gold Necklace

Yesterday as I was jogging, my gold necklace came loose and I almost lost it. Luckily, the gold was cool because I was running and when it fell, I felt it slide down my skin. Immediately the gold necklace fell through my shirt and on to the ground. I felt it fall, and stopped to turn around and pick it up. I was so grateful that I hadn’t lost it, because I knew that no one would have ever turned it in to the police as missing.

The gold necklace has a great amount of sentimental value to me. My daughter and husband ordered it for me this past Christmas online. It was my daughter’s first online purchase, and they gave me the two small hearts because they said that it represented their hearts and that when I wore the gold necklace, I could always know they were by my side. Looking out the window, the clouds still looked dark after four days of pretty consistent rain fall. We were getting pretty stir crazy sitting inside this entire weekend. My friend had just moved into the area and we had planned on checking out everything around his new place before he had to start a 9 to 5 the next Monday. In almost one week it will be Valentine’s Day and people with girlfriends will find out exactly how great their holiday of love gift is.
